This guitar stand was designed for this guitar to appear floating in space. It's base is the shape of a guitar pick with a matte black finish on top to mimic the guitar's top and headstock.
Materials & Finish
Wood: Mahogany & Maple
Other: Rubber yoke sleeves
Finish: Osmo Polyx Oil, satin; Paint
The base of this stand is the shape of a guitar pick with a matte black finish on top to mimic the guitar's top and headstock. This could be customized to match any other finish or colour. Also, a v-groove is cut into the edge to lighten the overall weight of the base.
The stand is designed with a curved arm to balance the weight of the guitar perfectly. The yoke holds the guitar centered over the base.
The guitar hovers over the base, so it looks as though it's floating in space. The top surface of the base is painted a matte black to compliment the guitar.
The yoke is covered with soft, grippy rubber sleeves to ensure the headstock stays put.
The incorporation of small maple accents compliment the light colour of the tuning pegs, nut, saddle, bridge pins, and edge banding on this guitar.
The stand arm is tapered like the guitar's neck, and the top is carved to the same shape as the guitar's heel.
